I spent some quality time with Jacques in San Diego this past weekend, and he really is your biggest fan. He did provide me with one of your cds which helped me relax on the 4 hour flight back home Saturday night. Did you ever go to Cal State Fullerton for your undergrad studies? Did you have a top forty band in the eighties? [Sorry I did not mean to "date" you.] Ever worked as a hair stylist? I know these are unrelated questions, but I knew a Judy Akin in the 80's who did all these and I admired her for her ambitions and drive.

Hey! What's up, Cousin?!
Congratulations to you! What a beautiful album! I just got done listening to the clips and I started crying remembering the times I'd sit with you while you got ready for the day singing in the bathroom. It was so fun seeing you sing around Orange County and at Disneyland! Every time I came over to your house I'd beg you to sing "You Light Up My Life" with Aunt Mae at the piano. (I still think you're the best person that has ever sung that song.) You were very sweet to endulge your little admiring cousin.
My 5 year old daughter is taking voice lessons and just had her first recital last week and also got to sing at the mall here in Washington. She did really well and my husband and Mom were amazed that she wasn't nervous a bit!
OK, I must get to bed. I'm recovering from surgery and keep having problems with insomnia (hence me being on here at 1 AM!). Not exactly getting the rest I should. I'm a bad patient. :-)
